Are you a fanatic for numbers? Someone who likes maps perhaps? About 9 or so months ago I stumbled across a link here on dkos to a game called
senateseeker. Since then I've become quite enamoured with the goings on in the fictional democratic party, almost as much as I am with the real life one. In my time there I've seen good and bad trends for the democrats. And lately there's been a bad trend.
That is why we need your help friends. I know most of us have crazy busy lives and spend 5 hours a day reading dkos here or out there in the field doing real campaigning. But a few of us might have an hour or two a day to goof off with right? Well, how about you join us?
You see, we need players. Lots of players. And what better place to recruit them than in the largest liberal blog ever? I know its late but hear me out. I've been the senate dem leader now for two weeks and things are in a sorry state of affairs. We got silly division in the ranks, and it is very silly, a shrinking minority, and a shrinking player base for the party. The republicans are stealing presidential race after presidential race. The greens for crying out loud have a sizeable minority of senate seats!
This trend must end. And I ask you to help us. Sign up, contact the party leaders, and ask for guidance. We're here and we'll help you out.
Its easy to play. Click a few buttons, select some options for a menu. Tis that simple! Just make sure to keep your profile similar to your state. A conservative state can elect a conservative dem, but not likely a liberal one. On the other hand, Conneticuit deserves a liberal Democratic senator right?
So sign up, and send me an in game message. I'm Glorvan in game. Feel free to talk to me any time.
