Back in the day when Dubya's approval ratings were well over 60 in the big national polls--seems like ages ago now--I would frequently grumble and grouse about the *#@%! ignorant, easily duped masses. Now with most polls hovering around 50 it appears that news about the Bush administration's multiple failings and criminal activity is finally getting through American's dense skulls. Then comes this news from the WaPo:
A survey of college students, conducted this month for Harvard University's Institute of Politics, found that 61 percent approve of Bush's job performance. That is significantly higher than what most polls of the general population have reported. The most recent Washington Post-ABC News survey placed Bush's approval rating at 53 percent.
